Please remember that Aikido is about the community that we create together. It is not a transactional relationship. Dues are designated to provide all of us with a space in which to train and for the instructors to maintain their education. As in most martial arts communities, the instructors are unpaid volunteers who love what they do and are earnestly attempting to pass on their knowledge and experience to the generations yet to come. Even when we cannot attend classes, it is important that the dojo be cared for so that it will be there when we return.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
